Description
One black and white photograph showing four men gathering ice to water the ship. Two men can be seen standing at the bottom proper right of the photograph, a third sits on the ice in the middle ground, and the fourth stands on the proper left of the photograph. At the centre stands a basket full of ice. The Western Mountains can be seen in the distant background. Accompanied by a handwritten caption stating '"Water ship". Fast sea ice showing pressure. Western Mountains in background. 6.30pm'.
