Japanese sword (katana) and scabbard
Description
Two-handed sword with scabbard. Sword: iron tsuba; habuki and seppa of copper; fuchi of copper with inlaid gold; bronze menuki; kachira of copper with gold painted designs. No inscription on sword tang, but inside of fuchi is inscribed. The hilt is bound with gold braid over gold-coloured same (ray skin). Scabbard: inlaid with shell and coated with clear lacquer.
