Parang and Scabbard

Description
A Dyak parang sword and scabbard. The sword's hilt is made of bone in the form of stylised bird head with dyed hair. The grip is bound with finely plaited cord. The blade tang is held in the hilt with wedge and resin. The scabbard is made of wood that has been stained red and bound with split cane and held with plaited cane carrying cord. The scabbard has attached a side scabbard that is made of bark and decorated with dyed hair.
