Dagger and scabbard

Description
Japanese dagger without guard (aikuchi): brass or gold habaki; silver crescent inlaid on side of habaki; copper seppa and fuchi with inscription on upper surface of seppa; copper menuki; lacquered kachira with gold inlay. Gold is also inlaid in the fuchi. The hilt is decorated with green plaited cord over a layer of finely bound cane strips. There is no inscription on the shaft. Wooden scabbard is lacquered black, with gold, silver and copper designs inlaid into various areas over the surface; copper kojiri.
