Description
Light or lamp shade made from greetings cards crocheted together with green linen thread over wire frame. 16 individual cards are used cut to a wedge shape. The cards are placed back to back with a cardboard stiffening layer in between. The cards are predominantly traditional English type Christmas cards on the outer layer with flower and garden cards (also some Christmas) on the inner layer. One card has a padded feature apricot satin (faded to pink) insert. Another card features metallic silver and gold leaf.
