Match Box: Wax Matches
Description
Tin box of 99 wax matches which were taken from Cape Adare and which were used by Borchgrvink's 1899 expedition. Box is copper coloured and has R Bell & Co London, Estab. 1833 no4 embossed on the top. Contains miniature wax matches with strike plate.
