Description
A sterling silver teapot with ebony handle, engraved design with a central monogram "B" and a hinged lid. As a base; an oblong sterling silver tray with feet, also monogrammed, for the teapot. The set was brought to Canterbury in 1850 by donor's great-grandfather Dr Alfred Charles Barker and used in "Studdingsail Hall" and his later home on the corner of Oxford Terrace and Worcester Street.
