Researcher comments/remarks
The St Andrew's Presbyterian Church was originally located at the corner of Oxford Terrace and Antigua Street, where this photograph was taken. The church was built in 1856-1857 and underwent significant expansion in 1892-1897. Soon after this photograph was taken it was relocated to Rangi Ruru Girls' School for use as the school's chapel. The old site was used for parking at the hospital for many years afterwards.
