Chest: Wooden

Description
Wooden chest with a hinged lid. Metal bands are riveted to three sides of the lid and along both sides of the chest. There are two hinges on one end of the lid and a thin length of wood has been nailed across the top. "PERSONAL J.H Miller" is written on the lid. Writing on one side reads "REQN No.132 C^A 53LBS. R8623.T.A.E ROSS SEA TRANS ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION"
