This is Helen Angela Busby formerly Meares Born 1 Apr 1917 in Fendalton, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand Daughter of Cuthbert Stephens Meares and Margaret Edith Parker Sister of Margaret Madeleine (Meares) Denham and Charles Athelstane Stavers Meares Wife of John Gordon Busby — married 1949. They farmed near Tokomaru Bay, north of Gisborne. Helen was killed in a car accident in 1983 with her sister Madeleine.
