Researcher comments/remarks
The prominent white and red brick Para building, at 146 High Street, was built in 1900 and housed many small businesses over time. The upper floors were refitted in the late 1980s into 27 warehouse style apartments. The building was demolished following the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes.
