Researcher comments/remarks
Built in 1932, the former High Street Post Office was designed by government architect J T Mair in the striped classical style. It became the premises of Alice in Videoland and was one of the few heritage buildings along High Street to survive the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes.
