Description
Part of Japanese porcelain tea service. Five pieces: teapot (with crack), sugar basin and milk jug - in an egg shell porcelain; two plates/saucers with small handles in a thicker porcelain. Decorated with pine trees, cranes, bamboo, flowers and lake scenes. Mainly in brown, grey and white with touches of colour. Gilt edging around rims, and handles of teapot, jug and basin decorated with small silver-grey flowers. Knobs on lids of teapot and basin are in the form of two flower petals. Mark in red on base.
