Description
Pair of jugs, in earthenware with copper lustre. Their lower portions bulged with bases, splayed out. Their upper portions are almost straight sided. They have two bands of orange with decorations in copper lustre. The decorations are simple, not well defined and probably represent plant life. Round the rims are narrow moulded friezes covered with the lustre. Their spouts are large for quick pouring, their handles have projections for non-slip grip, and the lustre goes well down inside.
