Description
One unglazed dark brown earthenware vessel. Globular body surmounted by a narrow cylindrical neck and out-turned rim and lips. Central part of body exhibits broad band of densely impressed vertical dotted lines contained within transverse linear boundaries and divided by a single central transverse line. Neck and upper shoulder exhibit narrower band of incised transverse linear features.

Carried in 1947 from Shandan, Gansu to Canterbury Museum by John Johnson of the Friends' Ambulance Unit.
