Description
Circular small plate: rim border of gold Greek key on red, outlined with black; inner rim border of white or pale blue dots and larger dotted flower-head-like patterns, repeating, edged with gold and green tiny lattice line; pierced lattice-work section comprising rest of wide rim; cavetto has interlocking floral swags in alternating green and gold and green and dark puce, linked with wide band of gilded diaper pattern; lower part of wreaths have small floral sprays in puce, pink and green, linked with gold ribbon with floral sprigs; central floral wreath of gilded ribbon, green leaves and puce florets, encircling the red/gilded initials "A J N" within an oval cartouche; all on a white ground. The obverse is plain. No footring - cut away.
