Stone: sculpture

Description
One white carved stone head of Guanyin broken off at the neck from a larger sculpture. Lower left side of its face is marked with dark grey speckling. Figure wears an elaborate hairstyle bound into a knot above its brow. Facial features comprise closed eyes a long nose and a small mouth. Two small holes drilled into the back of the head suggest that there are missing attachments. Head rests on a plain red-brown carved wood base cuboid in shape.
