Description
One glazed white ceramic snuff bottle. A short narrow neck with an out-turned lip surmounts a flattened pear-shaped body tapering towards an oval-shaped base. Body presents a continuous design in various colours. One face depicts two diminutive figures in a hilly landscape with trees and houses; the other side presents an animal crouching on a rock beneath a spray of peonies and bamboo and a flying insect above. Base exhibits mark of Kangxi Emperor (1661-1722 AD) in orange glaze.
