Ivory: sculpture

Description
One creamy-white elongated carved ivory figure posed on a short base openwork carved and pierced on the front surface with details of leaves fruit and a small animal. Figure depicted holding a flute up to its mouth. Rear surface of figure is less detailed presenting an oval-shaped label with Chinese characters. Iconography consistent with Daoist Immortal Han Xiangzi.
