Extract from PEPYS's diary, 20th January, 1862 : "The wine cooper this day did divide the two butts of sherry, which we did send for, and mine was put into a hogshead; it is the first great quantity of wine that I ever bought."
Produced and bottled by Williams and Humbert, London, Produce of Spain, Registered Trade Mark.
Black glass bottle with red coated metal cap. Seal 'W&H 1877' moulded on front with numbers 70, cipher and 30 moulded on bottom.
