Description
Decorative ghord/vase, stoneware. Handbuilt and of coiled clay to give "Pancake Rock" effect. Paddled body with blue-green glaze. Coil boundaried coloured with brown. Wide body (210mm) follows shape of slightly compressed oval base. Body tapers to a narrow elongated neck, with taper beginning 1/3 of the way up the object. Neck that results ends as 30mm wide, and is slightly off centre in relation to the base. The base (underside) is exposed cream coloured clay. No marking on base.
