Description
"Smoked Form" by Michael Higgs of Rangiora. Burnished lowfired and smoked earthenware vase undulating curved form, basic shape moving up from compressed oval base. Surface decorated with black/brown horizontal stripes that bow upwards, on a mottled light brown background. Body tapers to neck just above half way, shrinking width from 125mm at base to 75mm at top.
