Description
Terracotta sculpture by David Brokenshire, from his "Anchor Stone" series. Popular sculpture. Has recessed 80mm diameter hole which travels through the hollow object on a 45 degree angle, to exit opposite side. Reminiscent of an old stone anchor, with hole bored through corner for rope. Exterior surface ridging travels in concentric circles from both holes. Piece has browned, rust colour. Recess about holes has been smoothed, as if drilled, and is a chocolate brown gloss.
