Description
White ground with lines and leaves on handles (blue), intricate blue design on base and blue illustration of noble folk relaxing in the country. Part of this blue Watteau dinner service is already in the collection. The base is stamped with a small urn mark (smaller than EC1990.1245) and text, "Watteau. Burslem, England. Doulton". Part of this is rubbed off. There is also a brown rose with 4 D's in centre, Doulton. Burslem on petals, Crown above and "England" below.
