NECKLINE AND COLLAR:

NECKLINE: "V" shaped.

COLLAR: Shawl Collar. 6cm wide at deepest point. In one with the bodice yoke. Self faced & then attached to lining.

BODICE STYLE: Unfitted.

SLEEVE STYLE: Slightly dropped shoulder line - rest inserted. Two piece. Turned back cuff ~ 7 1/2cm. Fully lined.

WAISTLINE: No waistline apparent.

SKIRT SHAPE: Straight.

COMMENTS: SEAMS: Outer Fabric: Machined, black cotton edges left. Lining: All raw edges are encsed in the seams so that none are showing. TIES: There are two ties attached under the right armhole to the lining. Presumably these do up through a black satin ribbon loop that is sewn to the edge of the lining above the bottom of the yoke on the left hand side. BUTTONS: Black plastic with detailed edges (2.8cm). BUTTONHOLES: Machine - keyhole. BUTTON LOOPS: There are two handmade button loops (blanket stitched) attached along the left hand edge of the coat opening between the three buttons.
