Description
Guipere lace trim on spun silk blouse. D165 1950s-1960s (MRM).

Neckline: Rounded and sitting at the base of the throat.

Collar: Floral guipure lace collar cream. 3cm deep at centre back, 6cm deep at front.

Bodice Style: Loose.

Sleeve Style: Short, one piece sleeve, inset. Turned back cuff 2.5cm with one row of topstitching, white cotton thread.

Waistline: Undefined.

Skirt Shape: Straight.

Seams & Edges: Four thread overlocking, white cotton thread (slight discolouration).

Buttons: Clear plastic with a geometric pattern imprinted onto the under surface. Two holes for attachment 1.2cm diameter.

Buttonholes: Horizontal, machine sewn, white cotton thread. 1.5cm.
