Description
Pure linen dress with hand stitch trim in beige on brown (four buttons missing). D370 1950s (MRM).

Neckline: Rounded front and back, self faced. 1.5cm from the neckline is a handstitched long stitch in creme coloured cotton embroidery thread.

Collar: No collar.

Bodice Style: Semi fitted.

Sleeve Style: One piece, inset, short sleeve, inset cap sleeves, completely self faced/lined.

Waistline: Natural, semi fitted. At the right side seam is a brown cotton plaited belt keeper (3.5cm). Nothing at left side and no belt.

Skirt Shape: Straight.

Seams: Machine sewn, brown cotton thread.

Edges: Turned under and machine neatened with brown cotton thread, or three thread overlocked with brown cotton thread.
