Description
Fancy elastic shirred gauze top in nylon. For wear mainly under tailored costume jacket. B382 1950s- early 1960s (MRM).

Neckline: Rounded at base of throat.

Collar: Standing collar, one piece, seam at centre back. 5cm tall ie skivvy neckline.

Bodice Style: Fitted.

Sleeve Style: Inset, one piece, full length. Hem turned under twice 1.5cm and zig zagged in place.

Waistline: Fitted, natural, undefined.

Seams & Edges: Three thread overlocking pink cotton thread.

Bodice fits snugly to the body with the help of the shirring/elastic therefore minimal body shaping in actual garment pieces. All measurements have been completed onthe unstretched 'resting' garment.
