NECKLINE AND COLLAR:

NECKLINE: Front "V", back round; self faced.

COLLAR & LAPEL: Two piece - same as bodice F joins C.B. C.B. depth 3.5cm; front (widest) 7cm; lapel (widest) 6.5cm.

BODICE STYLE: Semi-fitted.

SLEEVE STYLE: One piece, inset, short. Cuff: 3.5cm wide.

WAISTLINE: Natural, mid-blue, cotton thread, blanket stitch belt loops both sides. Self covered fabric belt 2cm x 94cm, topstitched; four metal holes; grey cotton backing fabric; two shaped buckle, self covered; shows evidence of lengthing at buckle end (alteration). Metal hook + mid-blue, cotton thread, blanket stitch eye at C.F. opening.

SKIRT SHAPE: Straight.

COMMENTS: SEAMS: Machine sewn - mid-blue cotton thread. EDGES: Overlocked or selvedge - navy cotton thread. BACK SKIRT LINED: for 40cm from waist. EVIDENCE OF LETTING OUT IN DRESS: Darts removed at B Skirt wasist. BUTTONS: Self covered, attached on back, slight convex; 1.5 diameter. BUTTONHOLES: Horizontal, machine, mid blue cotton thread, 2cm wide.
