Shift in plum and beige tropical print canvas style cotton. Buttoned side. D319 1958 (MRM).

Neckline: Rounded, self faced. 1.1cm tuck at centre front.

Collar: No collar.

Bodice Style: Loose.

Sleeve Style: No sleeve, armhole self faced.

Waistline: Undefined, loose.

Skirt Shape: Straight.

Seams: Machine sewn, cream cotton thread.

Edges: Zig zagged. Cream cotton thread.

Buttons: Self covered, two, 6cm diameter.

The hem has been let down about 6cm, there is a previous hem line evident. Top stitching has been added at this stage (and probably also the vents).
