Researcher comments/remarks
The artist Pops Baker had painted colourful hearts onto this repurposed banner on Thursday 14 March 2019, for an event due to take place on Saturday 16 March. When the mosque attacks took place on Friday 15 March, Pops changed his plan and placed the banner outside the Christchurch Botanic Gardens for people to write messages on.
