Provenance details
Canterbury Museum worked with five representatives from Christchurch’s Muslim community, including next of kin to two of the victims, to make a selection of tributes for the Museum’s collection from amongst the tens of thousands.

Researcher comments/remarks
Religious solidarity was a key theme that emerged amongst the tributes to the mosque attack victims. Tributes were placed not only by fellow Muslims, but by Christians, Jews, and members of many other religions.
