One bronze medal with white fabric ribbon. Awarded for third place in the Christchurch under-15s International Cup 2019. On one side the medal has a stylized image of a football in raised relief. On the reverse are the logos of the Christchurch Football Charitable Trust.

Laid with a Waterside Karori Football Club shirt at: Botanic Gardens/Christchurch: 01 March 2019
Canterbury Museum worked with five representatives from Christchurch’s Muslim community, including next of kin to two of the victims, to make a selection of tributes for the Museum’s collection from amongst the tens of thousands.

Researcher comments/remarks
This medal was possibly placed in tribute to Sayyad Milne, who had been due to play in the tournament before the mosque attacks. Sayyad had played in the under-14s age group of the tournament the year before.
