Description
Child's ladder back chair with cane seat. Both back rails have been given a beaded look by turning, as have the tops of the back uprights. Square splayed back legs are rounded at the front above seat rail. Bended back. Front legs are rounded and have been turned. The four stretchers are similarly rounded. The cane seat has been secured by weaving through sequential holes drilled around seat rail. Chair has been varnished. Back chair rail has been repaired by slotting a rectangular sliver wher split had occurred (along line of drilling) and then glued. Part of a set with EC1997.8. See EC1997.8 for further details.
