Description
Cast Iron "New Record" 2 hole solid fuel cooking stove made by Scott Brothers of Christchurch with three small grates of varying sizes and one full length grate. Equipped with three pipes and reservoir to heat water. Basic rectangular range type shape with wall runner/plate along the back. Left side hole can be opened to tend fire and below is the fire box and ember tray. Small swing outdoor below hole cover has relief moulded "Scott Bros Ltd". Right side has large cooking area, with hob. Adjustable shelves in oven below. Oven door has "New Record" in relief moulding inside. Rectangular frame.
