Description
An upright type of air pump (also known as stirup pump). The pump is worked up and down in a vertical manner. The top of the pump has a shaped wooden handle which is attached to a metal shaft. The exterior body of the pump is made from hollow brass tube. The top of this tube has a screw on metal farrel. The bottom of the tube has a brass cap to which is screwed a small brass tube for flexible hose to be attached. The bottom of this cap has rivetted to it two metal brackets which fold flat against the body of the pump. These metal brackets are used as the stirup to hold the pump firmly to the ground.
