Bronze: vessel

Description
One bronze hu or zhi with a cylindrical body and lid moulded into an S-shape. Vessel exhibits green patina flecked with metallic orange-red. Four equidistantly-spaced vertical flanges divide lid and body into quadrants. Lid surmounted by a wedge-shaped knob. Lid and body present moulded patterns in shallow relief including divided monster or taotie design.
