Description
Earthenware circular cake plate on stand, Greek motif transfer decoration. Imitation "Etruscan" ware.
Circular concave plate, 35mm deep, with wavy edge. White glazed base; matt black surface. Rim border of combined dot-and-lozenge, and Greek wave pattern with lines and edged with gold (repeated on foot); central motif of 2 boxers and 2 supporters.
Backstamp: [unidentified] discus thrower.
